Herriman Hills Stampede

We had the Funnest Ward activity on Friday, it was a rodeo and as you can tell the committee did an awesome job. Jarrett roped, then Maddie road the barrels. Sydney chased chickens. Jarrett and Sydney dressed a goat with clothes. Jarrett had a funny method of sticking the goat between his legs, it was hilarious. It must have worked because the won, having the best time. Then they drew my name to ride the bull. Oh Boy! I was scared to death but tried to be a good sport. I stayed on for an okay amount of time and hopped off before I fell off! My hands were shaking a bit but it was fun. They let the kids ride the bull after and Noah tried it out and got a few seconds in before he was off.

Chloe's 2

I can't believe that my baby is 2. She told me on her birthday "I Not a baby Mom!" When I asked if I could take a picture of my baby. She is growing up way to fast. She thinks she is a big girl. She asked "Mom, I wear Make-up?" yesterday. She is so fun always making us laugh.
I am loving the one on one time with her while the kids are at school. She is such a joy in my life.

Noah just earned his BEAR award in scouts. He loves scouts. He is such a great kid. Good Job Noah!

Sisters

These are my sweet sisters. I never thought we looked a like, even though I have been confused as my sisters on many occasions. In this picture I can see why. They were all in town in June for a week or so. We just had to take a picture. I can't express my gratitude for my sisters enough. They are each my hero for different reasons. They are my most favorite people in the whole world. I love spending time with them even though it happens not often enough. I also have great sister in laws who we should have also taken a picture with. Next time! I Love You Sis!

Better of Dead!

So, Jarrett had knee surgery last week and spent a lot of time watching movies while he recovered. Maddie loves to lay with her Dad and watch movies. Apparently they watched Better Of Dead because when she came out of the bathroom one night she had done what she had see on that movie. She totally cracked us up!

Winter Fun

In January Jarrett took the kids sledding with some neighbors. They went up the hill above our neighborhood. They made some great trails and jumps. They had a great time!

Christmas Day

Christmas was very special this year. We decided to have the kids draw names and make the gifts for each other. Noah painted Russian nesting dolls for Chloe, Sydney knitted Noah a winter hat, Maddie made Sydney beautiful jewelry, and I made Maddie a tutu from Chloe. Jarrett took a gorgeous picture of the Salt Lake Temple for me, and I made him a calendar. I think the thing the I loved the most was how excited they were to give. Those were the presents they wanted to open the most. I also truly loved the one on one time with my kids as we worked on the presents in secret. The other presents were fun to but, the ones we made will be a memory that will last.

Christmas Eve

The Bickham Family came to our house for Christmas Eve this year. We had a great time and the food was really good. I thought we would do something a little different. I read a Christmas story about serving, then we put together a few hygiene kits for the humanitarian center. I don't know if everyone caught my vision with a Christmas story and a service project but for me this is what makes the holidays meaningful.

The Bickham's always do white elephants. They are always the funniest part of Christmas Eve and this year was no different. 20 lbs. of gray eyelets, hot curlers, urine measurer, 40 year old used golf balls in their original packaging, carpet tool, cell phone that fell in the toilet(Jarrett got this as his gift, boy was he thrilled) A book with people dancing with cats. Well you get the idea. The Bickham's do white elephants the traditional way.
